**The Opportunity**
An exciting opportunity is now available for a passionate and confident person to join the Kenworth Sales Team as a full time Plant Tour Guide based at our head office in Bayswater. This role provides a great opportunity to introduce people to our Australian manufacturing facility and highlight our Australian Made World’s Best advantage. For many of our customers it is the first time they get to see the finished product they have ordered and becomes a very special occasion.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct and assist with Plant Tours for groups of 6 or more people through the PACCAR Manufacturing Plant
- Management and development of VIP tour presentations and information
- Presenting company information and safety rules to the tour group prior to touring
- Liaising with key stakeholders to ensure the timely and efficient running of these tours
- Ongoing review and updating of the tour presentations and some administration and computer entry work.
- Administration duties, computer entry and other duties as required
- Adhere to Company Policies & Procedures
- Place orders and manage tour merchandise inventory
- Supporting the PACCAR Technical Centre
**What we like about you**
- Must be well-spoken, well-presented and be able to relate to a broad range of people from within our customers’ organizations (from drivers and mechanics to GMs and CEOs), as well as Community and School Groups, key Suppliers and Dealers. Delivering Power Point presentations to the group in our corporate boardroom
- Must possess robust customer service focus, good technical knowledge, and confident presentation skills
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Knowledge of Kenworth & DAF Trucks as well as the general transport industry will be highly regarded.
- Truck License desirable but not essential
