Where You'll Be Working
The Belmont Hospital Imaging Department is home to a highly skilled and collaborative team delivering a broad range of imaging services, including CT, general X‐ray, theatre imaging, ultrasound, and a rapidly expanding mobile aged care imaging service.
We pride ourselves on patient‐centred care in a department built on genuine respect, open communication and shared responsibility. Our team works closely with Emergency Department, Theatre, Patient Transport, Engineering and the broader Belmont Executive team creating a truly integrated and positive workplace environment.
About the Role
This newly created Senior CT Radiographer position has been established as part of the installation and implementation of our brand‐new CT scanner. You will play a key leadership role in shaping the service during this exciting phase of growth.
Typical Week
* Lead day‐to‐day CT workflow
* Support and mentor a team of experienced radiographers
* Oversee CT protocols, quality assurance, dose optimisation and image quality standards
* Provide hands‐on teaching and skills development
* Collaborate with department leaders, ED clinicians and the broader Radiology team
* Contribute to onboarding and training related to the new CT technology
* Support broader departmental services including general X‐ray, theatre and mobile aged care imaging
About You

Essential Qualifications
* Extensive CT experience with the confidence to work autonomously and guide others
* Strong leadership qualities and the ability to inspire confidence in a team
* Excellent clinical judgement, problem solving skills, and technical knowledge
* A passion for teaching, mentoring and developing colleagues
* High‐level communication and the ability to maintain positive relationships with multidisciplinary teams
* Commitment to patient safety, quality and best practice standards
* Reliability, professionalism and a collaborative approach
* Current registration with the Medical Registration Board (AHPRA)
* Current NSW EPA licence
Highly Desirable
* Experience with new equipment commissioning and protocol development
* Previous involvement in service development or change management
* Comfort working across multiple imaging modalities
* Familiarity with the operational landscape of a smaller hospital setting
* Experience with mobile aged care imaging workflows

* Dedicated time with the Chief Radiographer to understand workflows and service priorities

To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia.
