Lead and participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting close processes, including preparation, review, and posting of general ledger journal entries in accordance with professional accounting standards.
Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and variance analyses, providing actionable insights for management decision-making.
Perform reconciliations of balance sheets, bank accounts, and other key financial records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness.
Maintain and update the fixed asset register, calculate depreciation according to accounting standards, and ensure accurate reporting of asset values.
Monitor budgets, cash flow, and cost controls in collaboration with management, assisting in the preparation of annual budgets, labour cost budgets, and cash flow forecasts, and providing financial analysis and preliminary recommendations to support operational and strategic planning.
Prepare and lodge statutory obligations, including payroll tax, PAYG withholding, and superannuation, ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation.
Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and professional advisors regarding corporate tax, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
Oversee payroll accounting processes, including preparation of payroll journals, reconciliation of labour costs, and monitoring payroll accuracy, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and legislation.
Provide labour cost analysis and reporting to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
Ensure all financial reporting, compliance, and payroll activities are conducted in accordance with professional accounting standards and statutory requirements.

Experience and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or above.
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting or financial administration
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal financial management
* Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, MYOB) and MS Excel
* High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with management and external accountants
