Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team as a Strategic Sales and Services Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by managing and developing a team of sales staff. Your primary objective will be to achieve annual sales objectives in volume and value, while also identifying new customers aligned with our company's long-term strategy.
Distribution Growth:
* Develop and implement comprehensive distribution networks to cover the entire market.
* Train and direct distributors effectively to ensure they have the necessary tools and support to succeed.
* Manage annual business plans with each distributor and branch.
People Development:
* Provide ongoing training and coaching to distributor staff, focusing on customer-centric selling processes.
* Offer continuous development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Achieve annual sales targets while controlling expenses within the planned budget.
* Collaborate with the Finance Department to achieve targeted Accounts Receivable levels.
HS&E:
* Familiarize yourself with company vehicle usage guidelines.
* Educate distributor staff on Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) issues related to our products.
* Ensure compliance with HS&E guidelines when demonstrating products.
Other Responsibilities:
* Communicate regularly with salespeople and distributors.
* Work closely with other departments to coordinate activities and achieve company goals.
* Complete and maintain up-to-date state business plans.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5-7 years' experience in the vehicle refinish market or a combination of education and experience.
* In-depth knowledge of our products, systems, and application techniques.
* Proven sales and sales management experience.
* Excellent communication and motivational skills.
* Understanding of basic business management principles, including Profit & Loss, Cash Flow, Inventory Management, and Accounts Receivable.
* Effective leadership skills, including communication, organization, time and territory management, and professionalism.
* Ability to travel regularly and occasionally interstate.
