Overview Key responsibilities include financial oversight and reporting.
Preparation and presenting of accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
Oversee budgeting processes.
Ensure all financial records are kept in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with financial, taxation and regulatory obligations and support the preparation and submission of audited financial statements and annual returns.
Ensure proper risk management and financial policies are in place.
Oversee bookkeeping, banking, payroll and reconciliation activities.
Authorize payments, manage cash flow and oversee expenditure.
Liase with external accountants, auditors and funding agencies.
Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities.

Requirements Experience in financial management, accounting or bookkeeping.
Strong understanding of financial governance and compliance in the not-for-profit sector.Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.High level of integrity, ethics and confidentiality.
Positive communication skills with the ability to explain financial matters to board members.
Competency in accounting software (MYOB) and Microsoft Excel.
