Job Title: Ambulance Transport Attendant
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ambulance Transport Attendant to join our team. As an ATA, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and transport services to patients across Victoria and New South Wales.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Performing patient assessments and interventions on-road
* Providing high-quality patient care and treatment during on-road transport
* Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with patients and stakeholders
* Performing independently and problem-solving within established policies and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance), or Bachelor of Health Science (Paramedic), or Bachelor of Nursing (with AHPRA registered nurse registration), or other equivalent qualification for Ambulance Officers recognized by RFDS or DHHS
* Evidence of successful completion of required clinical placements and a Clinical Skills Assessment, completion of a minimum of 400 hours operational experience under the direct supervision of a clinical instructor, successful completion of clinical skills assessment
* Availability to work 10 and 12-hour shifts across 7 days
* Ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions
