The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and managing day-to-day operations across logistics, warehousing, and production functions for ANZ. This role plays a critical part in driving a strong Zero Harm culture, ensuring compliance with the IMI HSE Framework, and delivering efficient, cost‐effective, and high‐quality operational outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Lead the implementation, compliance, and continuous improvement of the IMI HSE Framework across ANZ.
* Drive a strong Zero Harm culture and ensure organisation-wide adherence to safety standards.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate safety and operational risks.
* Deliver continuous improvement initiatives aligned with annual HSE targets.
(Operational, Warehouse & Production Management)
* Oversee daily operations across production, warehousing, and logistics functions.
* Manage warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
* Oversee daily production to meet quality standards and On-Time Delivery (OTD) KPIs.
* Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.
(Logistics & Inventory Control)
* Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including carrier selection and scheduling.
* Monitor delivery performance and resolve logistics and production issues.
* Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, audits, and stock control processes.
* Implement systems to reduce errors, shrinkage, and stockouts.
* Lead, coach, and develop production, warehouse, and logistics teams.
* Manage performance, identify training needs, and support employee development.
* Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture focused on safety and continuous improvement.
* Demonstrated capability in leading Award‐based employees.
(Budget, Compliance & Stakeholder Management)
* Manage operational budgets, resources, and costs effectively.
* Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, ISO, and IMI HSE requirements.
* Partner with senior leadership and key stakeholders to align operations with strategic objectives.
* Track and report KPIs including order accuracy, OTD, productivity, and operational performance.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Required Skills
* Proven experience in operations management, logistics, warehousing, or production leadership roles.
* Strong leadership experience in driving HSE and safety culture.
* Excellent analytical, problem‐solving, and decision‐making skills.
* Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and people leadership capabilities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, reporting, and data management.
* Strategic thinker with attention to detail, resilient and adaptable in a fast‐paced environment.
* Results‐driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
