Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Customer Experience Team as a Senior Officer. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the team to achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities
* To provide support and guidance to the Customer Experience Team to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
* To work collaboratively with team members to provide accurate, timely and friendly advice and information relating to Council's services, activities and facilities.
* To implement training programs to develop existing and new team members and foster continuous improvement within the team.
* To oversee the efficient and accurate delivery of all cashiering functions including receipting and reconciliations and banking.
* To review and recommend improvements to the Customer Request System and telephone system.
* To maintain a team roster to ensure adequate levels of coverage at all Customer Service Centres.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
* High level customer service skills and experience.
* Experience in coaching and leading others in a team environment.
* Demonstrated commitment to open and transparent communication – both within the team and external to the team.
* Advanced oral and written communication skills.
* Understanding of local government and its functions.
