About the Role
As a Senior Food Services Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of preparation in minimizing nutritional losses and avoiding bacterial hazards. You will ensure the day-to-day purchase, delivery, storage, preparation, cooking, service, and presentation of food and drink for residents are completed within prescribed standards and preferences.
Responsibilities
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times.
* Develop and implement effective strategies to minimize waste and optimize resources.
* Work closely with the culinary team to create innovative menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
Requirements
* Certificate III or higher in Commercial Cookery is mandatory. Holding a Food Safety Supervisors certificate is highly desirable.
* You must commit to attending safety-specific training and upskilling sessions paid by the company. We also expect you to contribute to improving awareness, hazard reduction, and incident reporting.
* A resident-centric mindset is essential, influencing every aspect of your work.
* Exceptional communication skills and ability to liaise with various stakeholders are crucial for success in this role.
