Your Clinical Scope As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you’ll provide comprehensive anaesthetic services across elective, urgent and emergency procedures, with perioperative clinic responsibilities shared on a rotating basis. A diverse case mix to keep you challenged Orthopaedics: hip and knee replacements, trauma surgery and a broad range of general orthopaedic procedures General Surgery: laparoscopic cholecystectomy, bowel resections, hernia repairs, skin lesion excisions and gastroenterology cases Obstetrics & Gynaecology: epidural analgesia for labour and anaesthesia for caesarean section Urology: endoscopic and elective procedures Dental Surgery This variety offers the opportunity to maintain and expand your skills across a diverse case load, while contributing to safe, patient-centred care for the New England community.
