The role:

* As a Team Leader, ensure the services delivered by the FVCSS Adult Program are of the highest professional standard, responsive, effective, and efficient.
* Ensure that the FVCSS Adult Program is part of an integrated service system delivered through continual liaison and communication with other teams within the Service, as well as with other relevant service providers.
* Assist in planning and managing the human, financial, and physical resources of the FVCSS Adults Service against performance indicators and benchmarks, providing leadership and supervision to staff.
* Participate in quality improvement, education, and research projects undertaken by the multidisciplinary team as required.

Key skills:

* Comprehensive knowledge of family violence, with experience in clinical and/or therapeutic management of clients with complex needs, including effective liaison with family members and service providers.
* Proven management experience, including knowledge of management practices, purchasing services, quality improvement, and resource management.
* Strong self-management skills, including planning, organizing, prioritizing workloads, adaptability, and commitment to a team-based approach.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiation, conflict resolution, liaison, and marketing.
* Service planning, development, and evaluation skills, with understanding of the political, social, and organizational environment.
* Commitment to quality improvement, research, and professional development.

The Team:

The Family Violence Counselling and Support Service (FVCSS) offers specialised counselling and support to adults, children, and young people affected by family violence. This service is part of the Safe at Home system, focusing on the safety and well-being of victim survivors.

Details of appointment:

Permanent, part-time day worker, working 60.80 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Hours are negotiable.

Applicants should note that, for twelve months from the publication date, this process may be used to fill similar vacancies.

Salary:

$110,425 to $121,907 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation contribution. Salary is aligned with the Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No.2 of 2022.

Allowances:

* Access to salaries beyond $119,290 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme.

Salary packaging options include benefits such as living expenses up to $9,010 and $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year, along with other benefits if eligible.

Benefits for eligible candidates:

Eligibility:

Applicants must meet essential criteria:

* Approved allied health professional qualification and registration with the relevant National Board or full membership/eligibility with the professional association.
* Current Working with Children Registration.

Desirable requirements include a current Driver's Licence.
