What you will be Doing
As an AHS Builder, you will be responsible for the optimal operation of the Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) and Autonomous Haul Trucks (AHTs), ensuring alignment with the daily mine plan and business KPIs. Your day-to-day will include:
* Fleet Optimization: Maximize mining production by executing the 24-hour mine plan and optimizing fleet utilization.
* System Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor haul circuits, diagnose AHT stoppages, and escalate issues as needed.
* Virtual Mine Model Management: Create, edit, and optimize virtual mine models to support high productivity.
* Plan Execution: Implement and maintain load, dump, weekly, and lane management plans.
* Safety & Compliance: Uphold site safety standards, respond to emergencies, and ensure compliance with SHMS.
* Data Integrity & Reporting: Maintain accurate data records, monitor machine delays, and support performance investigations.
* Collaboration: Work closely with AH Controllers, Supervisors, Field Officers, and Caterpillar specialists to drive continuous improvement
What you will need
* A strong commitment to health, safety, and sustainable development.
* Experience or aptitude in autonomous mining systems and technology.
* Ability to interpret and execute mine plans effectively.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with MineStar, LiDAR surveys, and virtual mine modeling tools.
* Willingness to work collaboratively across multiple operational teams.
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying optimization opportunities.
* You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.
* Current drivers licence & right to work in Australia
