**Your responsibilities**:
- Join us as a Sales Specialist Water Analytics for the Process Automation Business area where you will be developing, continuously assessing, maintaining an effective sales strategy, including responsibility for sales of products/systems/services within a designated markets (regional/local) in accordance with strategy to improve ABB market penetration and realize growth aspirations in the assigned portfolio.
- This position reports to the Process Analytical Sales Manager and can be based in Moorebank, Notting Hill or Darra, Australia.
- Responsibilities include:
- Creating, planning, and implementing regional/local sales strategy and strategic business development initiatives for the Business Area Product Portfolio/Group
- Assisting to define key sales targets and establishing appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance
- Preparing sales plans using company tools
- Performing regular status reviews and proposing recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers in customer and potential customer organizations
- Ensuring efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers
- Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration
- Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting collection and project management activities when needed
**Your background**:
- Engineering background (Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics Automation or Chemical)
- Proven track record and experience in Technical Sales & Solutions
- Ideally Product Portfolio Management for complex sales and solutions, optimising direct sales channels to end users, Portfolio expansion Through, OEM's & partner/distributor relationship building
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and SAP
- Driven and passionate in achieving goals
- Good hold on communication both verbal and written
