Our Robina Pre Delivery department is now seeking a motivated candidate who is seeking to commence a start in the Automotive Industry as a Vehicle Coordinator/Yard Hand with opportunities for progression in the future.
About the position
This position carries out inspections on all incoming new vehicles that are being dropped off at the dealership by transport carriers to ensure the vehicles are free from transit damage and to ensure all vehicles have log books, keys and VIN numbers.
Role responsibilities
* Checking in all New Cars being dropped off to the dealership
* Reporting transport damage on the booking in sheets
* Highlight any damaged vehicles to the respective departments
* Maintain the stock holding yards
* Moving and parking vehicles
* Driving vehicles to and from outside contractors to have work completed
* Assisting Pre Delivery Detailers with cleaning new vehicles during peak delivery times
Skills and experience
* You will have excellent attention to detail and able to transfer the correct information from the vehicle to the Book in Sheets e.g. VIN Numbers
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Be a team player and a great communicator
* Willingness to comply with all Company Policies and uphold standards for service quality
* Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending and standing for extended periods along with getting in and out of vehicles on a regular basis.
* Intermediate computer skills
* Previous car washing experience preferred but not essential for the position
Position requirements
* Manual Drivers Licence or willing to obtain a Manual Licence
* Physical fit to meet the demands of this position
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* High attention to detail to transfer the correct information
This position will have you working both indoors and outdoors and in the rain/sun checking in new vehicle stock arriving to the Dealership. Your days will be varied with no two days being the same.
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 2.36pm.
