This is a dynamic role ideal for someone with foundational HR experience who’s ready to step up and grow in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. You’ll be supporting the end-to-end employee lifecycle and partnering with the HR Advisor, Area HR Director, and Head of Departments to ensure our people programs run smoothly and compliantly.Key Responsibilities:1) Recruitment & OnboardingManage end-to-end recruitment including job ad creation, candidate screening, interview coordination, reference checking, prepare employment contracts and onboarding of new employees across multiple departments.Conduct VEVO checks and ensure compliance with hiring policy and procedureFacilitate seamless new hire onboarding processes including, systems access, new hire orientation, and policy training to ensure a strong start.2) HR Operations & AdministrationMaintain employee records (digital and physical) securelyAssist with HRIS/Payroll data entry, reporting, and payroll coordinationPrepare HR communications including announcements and memosManage tools, benefits, ID cards, and systems provisioning3 ) Workplace Health & Safety (WHS)Support WHS initiatives, committee meetings, training sessionsAssist with injury management and return-to-work coordination4) Performance, Engagement & RecognitionCoordinate performance review processes (30/60-day & annual)Support implementation of development programs, coordinate mandatory training compliance, and lead employee recognition initiatives (e.g., Red Knight & Star of the Week Awards).Support employee engagement programs, town halls, and recognition initiativesHelp administer rewards programs and internal employee communications5) General HR SupportPartner with the Area HR Director to provide guidance to operational leadersAssist with employee relations matters, meeting documentation, and follow-upEnsure compliance with Stamford policies, modern award provisions, and Fair Work obligationsLiaise with Finance to ensure accuracy of employee records, resolve discrepancies, and support system cut-offs and signoffs.Coordinate employee exits including resignation/termination documentation, final pay instructions, exit interviews, and ensuring return of company property and deactivation of access.Qualifications in Human Resources or related disciplineReturn to Work Coordinator certification (or willingness to obtain)2-3 years’ experience in an HR coordinator or assistant role preferredExcellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office and HRIS system.
