About the position:
Currently we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Junior Systems Administrator / Senior IT Support Specialist to join its dynamic team in our Wantirna South office.
This role will be a 100% onsite position working Monday to Friday, during business hours.
The ideal candidate will hit the ground running.
The Junior Systems Administrator / Senior IT Support Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day support of all network and server systems within CPM Australia.
Reporting directly to the Infrastructure Manager, the role will aid all staff via the helpdesk and be the first point of escalation for the other helpdesk staff.
It will also encompass many day-to-day operational IT tasks.
A clear focus on the end user and a proactive approach will be needed to complement strong IT and troubleshooting skills.
It will involve working closely with a wide range of technical and non-technical users.
About You:
Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or related fields
Experience (min 3 years) in a similar Systems Administrator and IT Support Specialist role
Experience working in a similar role at a Contact Centre (ideally BPO)- Essential
Experience working with an international Contact Centre – Highly desirable
Bilingual skills (especially fluency in Filipino language) – Highly desirable
A thorough knowledge of operating systems, networking, hardware and software
Proven experience with Windows Client and Server operating systems
Proven knowledge and experience with Cisco IOS
Good understanding of Backup systems, Cisco Switching, Cisco IP Telephony, Wireless Networks, compliancy regulation, Cloud Technologies, Azure, O365, Azure AD, and experience with Cisco ASA firewalls
Sound knowledge of cyber security concepts, risk and audit practices as they pertain to IT operational services, with experience in management, deployment and maintenance of such practices
Detail-oriented working style and the ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to perform in a team environment and collaborate effectively
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain solutions to non-technical users
