Occupational Therapists – Full Time Graduate or Early Career Hospital Rotational Program

The Rotational OT program:
Our Occupational Therapy service based out of Launceston comprises over 40 professionals delivering services across acute, sub-acute, and community settings.
This program offers early career occupational therapists foundational practice skills and hospital experience in areas such as acute medicine, general surgery & trauma, stroke & other acute specialties, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, and community home-based services. You will be supported by peers from across Australia, with comprehensive induction, clinical supervision, professional development, and mentorship to help you grow professionally. We prioritize your well-being and work-life balance.
Program features include:
1. 4-month rotations in various clinical areas including acute medicine, surgery & trauma, stroke, rehabilitation, and community services.
2. 1:1 supervision from experienced Senior OTs or Clinical Leads, with protected time for supervision.
3. Weekly in-service and tutorial programs covering topics like wheelchair prescription, upper limb assessment, neuro-screen, and home modifications.
4. A supportive workplace with relocation assistance and social activities.

Position Details:
Permanent, full-time, 76 hours per fortnight, with flexible part-time options. Start as soon as possible. Some travel and shift work may be required. The process may fill similar vacancies for 12 months.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary: $73,834 - $111,364 + 11.5% superannuation. Salary packaging options available, including benefits up to $9,010 for living expenses and additional allowances for professional development, relocation support, and fitness facilities.
Eligibility:
* Registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
* Desirable: Current Driver's Licence.
