Full-time / Part-time, Fixed-Term 12 months

Catherine McAuley College Bendigo is seeking passionate and innovative educators to teach in the areas of Art or Textiles. We are recruiting for one position and will consider applicants with expertise in Arts or Textiles, depending on the strengths of the successful candidate.

* Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that foster creativity and critical thinking.
* Inspire students to explore visual arts and design through practical and theoretical learning.
* Support students in developing technical skills in textiles, design processes, and creative expression.
* Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary projects and share best practices.
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment aligned with Mercy values.


What We're Looking For

* Hold a degree in Education or a relevant subject area.
* Have current teaching qualifications and VIT registration.
* Demonstrate experience teaching Arts / Textiles at the secondary level.
* Use adaptive and effective teaching strategies to engage diverse learners.
* Are committed to child safety and inclusive education.
* Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Collaborate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
* Meet the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.

Catherine McAuley College Bendigo is a co‑educational year 7 to 12 Catholic secondary school and a member of the vibrant network of Mercy Education Limited, schools around Australia.
