About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Civil Engineer to lead the delivery of our most significant and complex water, sewage, and waste services infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and program capital works initiatives to ensure readiness for delivery.
* Manage end-to-end project delivery, overseeing the full lifecycle from design through construction, commissioning, and post-project validation.
* Lead contract and tender processes, preparing and managing contracts under AS standards.
* Direct project teams and resources, allocating staff and contract resources to achieve project milestones.
* Monitor progress and financials, preparing accurate reports and tracking expenditure against budgets and KPIs.
Requirements
* A record of achievement at a senior level in projects related to the delivery of capital works, preferably gained within a water/wastewater environment.
* Experience in project management and contract management procedures, including practical experience in managing project teams, planning, programming, and budgetary control of projects up to $40M.
* Asset management skills and knowledge of applicable Australian Water Industry Acts, Regulations, environmental, and quality management systems.
* Computer literacy utilizing the Microsoft suite of products.
