The organization

The opportunity
With a focus on maximising the efficiency and utilisation of both vehicles and drivers, you will manage scheduled services and on-demand pickups.
Reporting to an experienced Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for dispatching drivers and appropriate vehicles—including subcontractors—to meet service demands.
You'll also manage real-time changes, resolve delays, communicate updates to customers, and function as the first point of contact for any incidents, hazards, or near-miss events, assisting with the completion of relevant reports.
Selection criteria
Proven experience within a fast paced / high volume Dispatch / Scheduling role
Understanding of Brisbane suburbs and surrounding areas
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in operating transport dispatch programs advantageous
Computer literate – MS Office Suite
Proven problem solving, conflict resolution and time management experience
