Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Relations Lead to drive industrial relations strategy, lead enterprise agreement negotiations and ensure regulatory compliance. This role is based in Brisbane and interstate travel is required.
Key responsibilities
* Lead enterprise agreement bargaining processes end-to-end, including strategy development, negotiations, agreement drafting, and Fair Work Commission approval
* Act as the primary point of contact for union engagement and external legal counsel
* Provide expert advice on industrial instruments, awards, and employment legislation
* Partner with Operations and Payroll to implement enterprise agreements and award variations
* Identify, manage, and mitigate compliance risks
* Support complex Employee Relations case matters, high-risk investigations and conciliation processes
* Act as the organisation's representative in Fair Work Commission proceedings, working closely with external legal counsel
Who we are looking for
* Proven experience leading enterprise bargaining negotiations
* Strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, awards and industrial instruments
* Demonstrated ability to manage union relationships
* Experience identifying and managing industrial relations compliance and governance risks
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including drafting enterprise agreements and guidance materials
* Significant exposure to Fair Work Commission proceedings
* Tertiary qualifications in Law, Human Resources or relevant field
