Job Title: Urgent Care Enrolled Nurse
We are seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality patient care for injuries or illnesses. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will work closely with Registered Nurses (RN) to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
* Assist RNs in providing high-quality patient care, including history assessments, administering medications, wound care, and providing patient education.
* Perform tasks such as monitoring appointment books, registering patients, and updating registration details as required.
* Support RNs with patient services, greeting and assisting patients, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked clinical area.
* Ensure all patient care activities are within scope of practice and comply with relevant policies and procedures.
* Provide guidance on inclusion and exclusion criteria over the phone as required.
* Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation in patient files.
* Participate in workplace health and safety practices and report any incidents or hazards as per policies.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in an Emergency setting, with a focus on acute injury and illness management and fast-track patient flow.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle escalations, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
