PR & Social Media Coordinator
Full-Time | Gold Coast (Hybrid)
Salary: $70,000 + super; computer, plus phone and internet allowance provided
Start Date: January (flexible)
We're excited to grow our team and bring on a motivated PR & Social Media Coordinator to support our expanding client base across property, education, and finance. This role is ideal for an emerging communications professional who's eager to learn, create, collaborate, and grow alongside the business.
You'll work closely with our two founders, reporting to the Director of PR and the Director of Social, supporting public relations, social media, and content creation initiatives across multiple clients.
What you'll do
Assist with the execution of PR strategies, including media list management, media liaison, and distribution of media releases.
Interview talent and draft newsworthy media releases, blogs and content.
Support social media strategy and management, including scheduling content, community management, and platform monitoring.
Create engaging social content (copy, basic graphics, short-form videos).
Support events and media opportunities including planning, on-the-ground assistance, and behind-the-scenes content.
Assist with analytics and reporting, including social media insights and media coverage summaries.
Coordinate with clients, talent, and suppliers to keep projects moving smoothly.
Maintain organised files, calendars, and workflows across accounts.
What you'll bring
1–2 years of relevant experience in PR communications, media, or social media — or equivalent skills gained through internships, freelance work, or related roles.
Skills
Basic graphic and video editing (Canva)
Familiarity with social scheduling tools (Loomly or similar)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Ability to create / edit presentations
Attributes
Organised and detail-oriented
Strong communicator, written and verbal
Collaborative and eager to learnComfortable working across multiple clients and deadlines
Driver's licence ideal (regular onsite visits required)
Where you'll work
Hybrid model, with mix of remote work and in-person collaboration days on the Gold Coast.
Onsite client work may be required across South East Queensland locations, depending on project needs.
