 
        
        As a member of the crucial maintenance team, you will be responsible for timely breakdown repairs and carrying out of preventative maintenance. You will also partake in foundry upgrades as directed by the maintenance lead.
**Duties and responsibilities** 
- Repair breakdowns in a timely manner. 
- Updates internal record system to reflect maintenance activities. 
- Maintain safe and efficient manufacturing machinery and equipment, and site infrastructure. 
- Work within the quality and safety systems. 
- Assist in commissioning new foundry equipment / capital project works. 
- Identify potential maintenance issues and correcting them.
**Knowledge and skills** 
- Robust working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electric and pneumatic systems. 
- Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment (training specific to Hycast foundry equipment will be provided). 
- Able to use power tools, a lathe, a mill, welding equipment etc. 
- Good problem solving skills 
- Good time management and work prioritizing skills. 
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role. 
- Will consider 3rd or 4th year apprentices from relevant disciplines
