The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity to step into a Supervisor (OO6) role at QBuild, where you will oversee and coordinate construction and maintenance projects. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance, efficiency, and quality in all aspects of project execution, working closely with field staff, subcontractors, and key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage the delivery of construction, maintenance, and upgrade projects; Prepare accurate and timely estimates, tenders, and project trade packages; Conduct condition assessments and inspections, including asbestos sampling for testing; Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) regulations, participating in audits and site inspections; and Work closely with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives. Required Experience We are seeking an experienced construction professional with strong leadership skills and technical expertise. The ideal candidate will have: Construction industry-related trade qualification (highly desirable); Extensive experience in project supervision, estimation, and contract management; Knowledge of building codes, WHS legislation, and compliance frameworks; Strong communication and problem-solving skills for managing teams and resolving project challenges; A current Workplace Health & Safety General Safety Induction Card; and A valid Driver’s Licence (as frequent regional travel, including overnight stays, is required).
