With the launch of our digital PR offering WireCast in 2023, led by PR leader and WiredCo. Partner Michelle Hampton, we’re shaking up the PR industry one campaign at a time. Our approach to earned media is fresh, measurable, and results‑driven.
Now, we’re looking for a smart, ambitious PR Account Executive to help us take it even further.
THE ROLE
As a PR Account Executive, you’ll be an integral part of our earned media team, supporting the execution of earned media strategies and delivering measurable results for our clients. You love seeing your clients in headlines and thrive on the buzz of securing media coverage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the earned media team in developing and executing earned media campaigns for key clients across publicity, organic creator/influencer engagement, activations, and integrated campaigns.
- Take an active role in media relations: write compelling pitches, develop press materials, and build relationships with key journalists.
- Contribute to campaign ideation, working alongside creatives, social, and strategy teams.
- Lead the research and development of media lists, staying on top of key journalists, publications, and media opportunities.
- Lead coverage tracking and compile performance reports for clients.
- Lead PR kitting, including ideation, list development, and supplier management.
- Support PR‑led events and activations, coordinating guest lists, media interviews, on‑ground logistics, and stakeholder management.
- Support our influencer marketing channel – sourcing talent, coordinating partnerships, and managing deliverables.
- Use performance measurement and monitoring platforms to drive effective earned media measurement (you’ll be trained on our unique approach).
- Stay ahead of industry trends, looking for innovative ways to amplify earned media success.
HOW YOU’LL BE MEASURED
- Delivering on KPIs developed in conjunction with your line manager.
- Adopting a new way to measure earned media and proactively exploring new methods to make earned media work harder.
- Effectiveness around working with teams within the agency to support integrated campaigns for clients.
- Innovative fresh thinking and a seamless outcome for our clients.
ABOUT YOU
- You have 1‑2 years of PR experience within an agency setting.
- You’re a strong writer who can craft compelling press materials.
- You’re proactive, organised, and thrive in a quick‑paced environment.
- You have a keen interest in media and storytelling—you love seeing brands in the news and know what makes a good headline.
- Experience using AI platforms is essential.
- You’re excited by the intersection of earned media, digital, and performance marketing.
- You’re a natural communicator and enjoy building relationships with media.
- Expertise in news cycles, cultural and social trends.
THE PACKAGE
- Salary package (including super): $55,000 – $65,000 (depending on experience).
- Flexible working environment, awesome office, and ability to work anywhere in the world for up to one month a year.

Base Pay Range
$55,000.00/yr – $65,000.00/yr.
