Occupational Therapist Role in Arnhem Land
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in Nhulunbuy, NT. As an OT in this remote community, you will have the opportunity to work with a multi-disciplinary team and provide contemporary OT therapy services that maximise independence and participation for individuals.
Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments of patients, delivering and documenting on individual patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress with cultural sensitivity, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and local practitioners to provide holistic, respectful care, and being flexible and adaptable in supporting the healthcare team.
You will predominantly be working with NDIS clients, but may also see private and aged care clients. Day-to-day you'll work closely with a community liaison when out in community, providing occupational therapy services to the local residents, or operate within the local school or clinic for 1-2 days of the week.

* PRIOR EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH ABORIGINAL OR TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER PEOPLE IN A REMOTE OR REGIONAL COMMUNITY
