Role Outline
Responsibilities
Asset Lifecycle Management – maintain accurate records, coordinate deployment and disposal across regional and national sites, and ensure compliance with organisational policies.
Inventory & Audit – lead annual asset audits, schedule and oversee stock-take activities, and update systems with physical verification.
Compliance – ensure sanitisation and disposal processes meet security standards and support physical and information-security protocols.
Coordination & Reporting – liaise with Field Services, Project Managers and stakeholders, and prepare disposal templates, sanitisation certificates and audit reports.
Strategic Oversight – support transition planning, integrate asset management into broader service delivery models, and participate in workshops to streamline handovers and automate tracking.
Qualifications and Skills
Strong understanding of asset tracking systems.
Experience in Australian Government or regulated environments preferred.
Excellent coordination and communication skills.
Familiarity with ICT hardware and software lifecycle.
AGSVA clearance required.
Driver's licence (Automatic) required.
Test and tag experience highly regarded.
Asset management experience highly regarded.
Minimum of 4 years supporting deskside support environments.
A relevant degree in IT or a related field; industry certifications highly regarded.
