Advance Design Group is a growing multi-channel company with over 50 years of experience managing, creating, and distributing uniforms and workwear for businesses. Our branded workwear platform, Uniformity, produces uniform solutions for organisations across a variety of industries, including Healthcare, Aged Care, Corporate and Hospitality. We also have both a wholesale and retail channel for our scrubs.
The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive individual with extensive embroidery or sewing experience to join our expanding team in Wyong. This role is Full-Time Monday – Friday 7.30 am – 3.30 pm.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating a six-head Tajima embroidery machine
* Occasionally operating a single-head Tajima embroidery machine
* Maintaining your machine to ensure quality output
* Hooping garments for embroidery
* Trimming garments once embroidery is complete
* Using Wilcom to occasionally make design alterations (usually text)
* Marking jobs complete in our custom-built portal
* Unbagging of garments in readiness for embroidery when required
About You
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar role OR extensive sewing experience and willing to learn embroidery on a multi head machine.
* Confident with computer systems.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Previous use of Wilcom is desirable.
* Must have Australian permanent work rights with no restrictions
