Unique opportunity for a Grade 3 Physiotherapy Student Clinical Educator.
* Fixed-term position until October 2026
* Part time (32 hours/fortnight) - days can be negotiated (Monday and one other preferred)

The Department
Alfred Health's Physiotherapy Department provides acute physiotherapy services to the patients of The Alfred and Sandringham Hospital and subacute physiotherapy services to Caulfield Hospital.
The acute physiotherapy service is organised into five functional streams, namely: Intensive Care, Musculoskeletal, Respiratory, PAN (Progressive Illness, Aged Care and Neurosciences), and Sandringham.
The Role
The primary role of the Physiotherapy Student Clinical Educator is to provide support and advice to La Trobe University (LTU) undergraduate physiotherapy students, and their clinical supervisors, in relation to their clinical placements.
Skills/Qualifications
* Registration under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Victoria) Act 2009 (where appropriate) or accreditation with relevant self-regulating professional body
* Allied Health qualification (at least 7 years experience), with eligibility for membership of relevant Allied Health professional body
* A current 'Working with Children Check' (WWCC) to be held for the tenure of the position, as per agreement with La Trobe University
* Demonstrated commitment to the purpose and beliefs of Alfred Health
* Applied knowledge of multo-modal design, implementation and evaluation of education models
* Applied knowledge of programme development supporting the competence, capability and capacity of Allied Health clinicians
* Experience in leading change initiatives and/or project management
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Highly developed interpersonal, communication, liaison and negotiating skills
* Sound knowledge of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards
* Working understanding of the student placement process in Victoria
