Emergency Medicine Specialist
**Job Description**
The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly skilled Emergency Medicine specialist with recent clinical experience in the field. The position requires effective communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
**Salary and Benefits**
The salary for this role is $186,241 - $229,825 per annum, based on a 40-hour week. In addition to a competitive remuneration package, employees are eligible for up to $10,000 in the first 12 months and up to $10,000 each year thereafter under the Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.* Employees may also be eligible for opportunities in teaching and research through partnerships with the University of New England.

* Provide high-quality patient care in an emergency medicine setting
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective management of patients
* Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
**Requirements**
* Eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist (Emergency Medicine) and/or overseas trained specialist pathways
* Recent clinical experience in Emergency Medicine at the role delineation of the service
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team
* Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills
* Commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement
* Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time
