The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plant Operator to join our Public Works team in a permanent full‐time, depot‐based role located in Roselands.
In this hands‐on role, you will work across a range of civil assets, carrying out maintenance activities, operating plant and machinery, and supporting project‐based works under the guidance of the Leading Hand.

Duties will include but not be limited to:
* Perform general construction and maintenance of roads, footpaths, kerbs, gutters, and drainage.
* Operate plant and machinery as required.
* Keep worksites clean, including rubbish and debris removal.
* Maintain accurate records and follow productivity best practices.
* Undertake training and any additional duties as directed.

You will have:
* Class C Drivers Licence
* Workcover OH&S general induction certificate
* Demonstrated ability in concrete works
* Experience in laying asphalt
* Proven knowledge of general civil construction works
* Ability to operate plant
The salary range for this opportunity starts at $66,379 (Grade C, Step 1) + Allowance (AWACA) + 12% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
