What We Are Looking For
We are seeking an experienced IT project leader with strong project management expertise to drive Council's multi-phase ERP Program (TechnologyOne). The ideal candidate will bring proven skills in coordinating complex IT projects, managing budgets, risks, and stakeholders, and leading cross-functional teams. Strong communication, problem-solving, and vendor management experience are essential, with knowledge of TechnologyOne, Microsoft technologies, or local government environments highly regarded.
The salary range being offered for this temporary full-time position is $3,780 - $4,254 gross per fortnight plus superannuation which equates to an annual salary of $98,290 - $110,611 gross plus superannuation (dependent on skills, qualifications and experience).
Key Accountabilities
Coordinate IT project delivery, focusing on the Council's ERP Program (TechnologyOne), by managing project plans, timelines, dependencies, and milestones using appropriate methodologies (Prince2, Agile, PMBoK) to meet quality, scope, time, and cost expectations.Manage project risks and reporting, maintaining and monitoring RAID (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions) logs, escalating issues as needed, and providing regular updates and reports to the IT Manager.Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication, translating technical requirements for non-technical audiences and supporting effective collaboration with internal stakeholders, including functional leads, service owners, and executive sponsors.Support procurement and vendor management, assisting in developing procurement documentation (RFTs, RFIs, RFQs), tracking contract performance, contributing to vendor evaluations, and ensuring compliance with Council procurement policies and regulations.Monitor project budgets and resources, tracking expenditure, contributing to forecasting and variance analysis, collaborating with Finance for accurate reporting, and supporting resource planning and task allocation.Support change management and project handover, contributing to change management planning, communications, training, benefits realization tracking, and handover activities to business-as-usual teams with appropriate documentation and user guidance.To actively promote and demonstrate the core values and behavioural requirements of the Workplace Environment Statement.
