About the Role
As a Yard Hand, you’ll play a key role in supporting the safe and effective operation of our yard and depot. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe loading and unloading of freight
- Operating forklifts to move and organise freight and equipment
- Assisting with general yard duties and housekeeping
- Supporting drivers and operations with day-to-day requirements
- Following all safety and compliance procedures
About You
- Current forklift licence (essential)
- Previous experience in a transport or logistics yard (preferred but not essential)
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Physically fit and reliable with a positive attitude
