Hunter New England Mental Health Service seeks a suitably qualified Psychiatrist to provide expert psychiatric care across inpatient, community mental health, and general hospital settings, while contributing as a medical leader within the New England region, including Armidale, Glen Innes/Tenterfield, Inverell, and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities include: clinical oversight of the Clark Centre, an 8‐bed voluntary inpatient unit; clinical leadership in the Community Mental Health Team as part of the Acute Care Team; and the Consultation‐Liaison Service at Armidale Rural Referral Hospital.
This role offers guaranteed hours each fortnight (equivalent to 0.53 FTE or 42.5 hours) which includes clinical coverage on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.
