Duty Manager – Full Time $70k
We're looking for a seasoned Duty Manager to join our team at this high-volume upgraded venue.
This is NOT a quiet operation. We can serve up to 1000 meals per day, and have been doing so over the holiday period, hold regular weekend entertainment, have a solid functions program and host around 10 weddings annually. Nights, weekends, public holidays and peak periods will be involved. This is a rostered role — when your shift is done, you go home. If additional hours are required, time in lieu will apply.

You should already be confident with:
○ Coffee + high volume bar service
○ Cocktail service during peak (busy) weekend periods
○ Gaming – Keno & pokies are must haves
○ GFRPRO experience is a big bonus
We have an exceptional senior team who are experts in their fields and set the standards from the top down. Age means nothing here – we care about results. We currently have around 20% junior staff and of the remaining team members 60% are under 40 years old. Here, people move up when they can do the job.
Important skills include excellent situational awareness and quick thinking. You will be responsible for juggling service pace, staff coverage, music/lights levels, sniffing out problems before they happen and keeping the ship afloat.
Must have:
○ Previous Duty Manager Experience- Must have worked in a busy hospitality venue
○ Current RSA, RSG and RP
○ Able to stand on your own two feet
○ National Police Clearance
○ 3 Professional referees you would gladly work for again.
Must be an Australian Permanent Resident
This is not a training role and not suitable for first-time Duty Managers.
