We are currently seeking applications for a Senior Consultant – Industry Participation to join The Officer of the Industry Advocate at The Department of Treasury & Finance for a period of up to 12 months.

Remuneration: ASO6 – Salary Range ($98,478 - $104,165 p.a.)

About the opportunity:

The Senior Consultant – Industry Participation reports to the Senior Manager, Business and Change and is accountable for the successful implementation of the South Australian Industry Participation Policy (SAIPP), the SAIPP Procedural Guidelines, and approved documentation, including Industry Participation Plans (IPPs) authorised by the Industry Advocate.

About you

As the Senior Consultant – Industry Participation, you will collaborate closely with the Office of the Industry Advocate team to deliver high-quality, professional services on behalf of the South Australian Government. In this role, you will provide expert advice and guidance on the implementation of the SAIPP, working with a diverse range of stakeholders across both the public and private sectors, including those involved in South Australian Government and local government procurement and grant processes.

To be successful you will:

* Demonstrate strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly, concisely, and accurately, both in writing and verbally. You will engage professionally and diplomatically with stakeholders at all levels, with expertise in consulting, liaising, influencing, negotiating, and resolving conflicts with tact.
* Be comfortable navigating ambiguous or incomplete information, using your experience to deliver high-quality outcomes.
* Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring confidentiality and reliability in all aspects of your work.
