Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to support patient access and affordability challenges in the pharmacy setting.
Responsibilities:
* Identify delayed or stalled prescriptions and take appropriate action to ensure timely medication delivery.
* Establish relationships with regional network specialty pharmacies and communicate effectively with stakeholders to optimize patient outcomes.
* Inform pharmacists and healthcare professionals about patient access and affordability programs, promoting seamless care coordination.
* Collaborate with the Field Reimbursement and Patient Services Team to identify process improvements and enhance efficiency.
* Educate healthcare professionals on patient assistance programs and call center support services, ensuring comprehensive support for patients.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree preferred or licensed/certified pharmacy technician with 5+ years of experience in the field.
* Demonstrated knowledge of pharmacy benefit design and prior authorization processes is essential for success in this role.
* Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills are required to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently and within a team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
