Software Delivery Manager

The Opportunity

Cochlear has an opportunity for a Software Delivery Manager based in our Sydney, Macquarie office. In this role, the successful Software Delivery Manager's role includes multiple responsibilities such as project management and scrum master activities in line with Cochlear's Product Improvement Process.

Responsibilities include:

- Escalate project risks or project changes, where risks or issues would impact the ability to deliver against the scope, project schedule, budget, or resources.
- Champion and drive the adoption of Agile practices in the squad(s), so that the team continues to stay at the foreground of employing industry best practices and enforce project standards.
- Be the external facing point of contact for the team to the rest of the business. Represent the

team where possible.

The role will also undertake additional quality responsibilities (e.g., audit) when appropriately trained to undertake these responsibilities.

About You. As we grow our operations, we are looking for people who share our passion for delivering quality hearing solutions to our customers. To add value to Cochlear in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Essential

**Required Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education and experience
- 3+ years' experience in project management or software team management
- Proven experience providing project delivery and team leadership in a software development or engineering environment.
- Ability to motivate and facilitate cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with another project team members.
- Proven experience in influencing, managing, and building alignment between a range of senior, cross functional stakeholders. Team focused. Good at managing relationships and looking out for the needs of the team.
- Proven ability to operate at the intersection of technology and business to maximize effectiveness with shaping product.
- Strong interest to work across various types of projects (desktop software, mobile apps, firmware and hardware projects) and across various disciplines.
- Strong interest in the Agile project management discipline.
- Very strong customer service orientation.
