Registered Midwife – Multiple Northern Territory Locations
Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) or Permanent Full-Time or Contract Based in the Community
Up to $129,000 + Super + Benefits
Position Overview: Stream Healthcare is seeking passionate and experienced Registered Midwives for a number of exciting opportunities across the Northern Territory. These roles offer the flexibility of permanent FIFO arrangements or the chance to relocate and live in some of Australia’s most unique and rewarding communities .

Key Responsibilities:
o Provide comprehensive antenatal care, including assessments, screening, and health education
o Support women during labour with expert clinical care and emotional reassurance
o Safely conduct deliveries and manage immediate postnatal care
o Offer continued support through the postnatal period, including breastfeeding guidance and newborn assessments
o Work collaboratively with GPs, obstetricians, allied health and other nurses
o Maintain accurate documentation and uphold best-practice standards in all aspects of care

Selection Criteria:
o AHPRA Registration as a Registered Midwife
o Experience in maternity services
o Strong interpersonal, clinical, and documentation skills
o National Police Clearance & Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
o Remote Area Nursing accreditation (desirable)
o Flexibility to travel or relocate depending on role type
