Job Description:
Accurately check the quality and depth of drill holes and record ground conditions that may affect blasting.
* Maintain a clean and tidy drill rig and report/address any maintenance faults;
* Demonstrate a positive attitude towards regular and reliable drill metres, rig utilisation, and consumables usage;
* Provide neat and complete associated documentation for drill reports and pre-starts checks;
* Regularly use and active participation in safety assessments; and
* Be willing to be trained across a variety of drill rigs in the fleet and show an adaptable attitude.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 12 months drilling experience in the mining industry with verified machinery skills list (Signed Training Transcripts)
* Verified machinery skills list (Signed Training Transcripts)
* A proactive attitude with the desire to work reliably as part of a team
* Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain) and current drivers licence
* A commitment to a positive safety culture

* Experience with rotary or top hammer drills - advantageous
