Community Support Worker Role Description
Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Community Support Worker in our Eyre and Far North Local Health Network. As a Community Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing essential services to enable our clients to maintain independence in their own homes.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with aged, frail or disabled individuals and be able to deliver compassionate and respectful care to clients in their homes or residential care settings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality care to clients in their homes or residential care settings.
* Assist with personal hygiene, grooming and mobility as required.
* Perform household duties including cleaning, laundry, minor gardening tasks and meal preparation.
* Provide safe and reliable transportation for appointments and outings.
* Engage clients in meaningful social interactions and activities to enhance their well-being.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
* Experience working with aged, frail or disabled individuals.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
