About the Role:
As a Technical Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, providing technical support, and driving sales growth in both established and new markets. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs, deliver tailored solutions, and define product requirements.
This role offers the opportunity to influence the future by promoting innovative, sustainable solutions to engineers, contractors, and government clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Promote, market, and sell all products in line with company policies
* Identify, prospect, and convert new clients, actively sourcing business through tenders and market engagement
* Collaborate with management to forecast sales targets and implement growth strategies
* Provide technical support and solutions for projects including road construction, landfills, and coastal engineering
* Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with customers, consultants, and contractors
* Attend construction sites regularly to provide on-site support and training
* Develop technical literature, case studies, and support materials for sales activities
* Ensure compliance with company quality and WHS standards
* Maintain accurate reporting and CRM/IFS data entry
* Monitor competitor activity and advise on strategies
Skills & Qualifications
* Proven sales experience with strong technical knowledge or related products
* Superior communication and interpersonal skills; adept at building rapport and maintaining client relationships
* Ability to anticipate customer needs and provide innovative solutions
* Experience preparing and delivering presentations internally and externally
* Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills
* Industry experience with a strong understanding of product applications
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
