About the Role
* Hands-on leadership: work in sections on all services, including taking the lead role on the main cookline.
* Manage kitchen operations, maintaining consistency and excellence.
* Develop and execute seasonal menus showcasing premium local and international produce.
* Mentor, coach, and inspire chefs at all levels to achieve their full potential.
* Manage rosters, ordering, stock control, and costs to deliver strong financial outcomes.
* Ensure the highest standards of food safety, compliance, and workplace culture are upheld.
About You
* Proven experience as a Head Chef (or extensive experience as a Senior Sous stepping into a Head Chef role) in a refined restaurant.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a large kitchen team through peak services.
* Exceptional culinary knowledge across modern Australian and international cuisines.
* Drive efficiency, manage costs, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
* Uphold the highest standards of food safety, consistency, and presentation.
Key Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
* Multi-year experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous leading a high-volume kitchen.
* Leadership skills with experience managing large teams.
* Expertise in menu development and execution.
