**The key duties of the position include**:
- Scheduling of meeting and forward planning (including management of competing priorities). This includes collation and completion of meeting papers, booking of venues for meetings and organising travel and accommodation, logístical support, and catering as required.
- Provide secretariat support including agendas and meeting minutes and maintain information resources.
- Maintain confidentiality and model ethical behaviour and practices consistent with the APS Code of Conduct and APS Values,
- Financial management including accounts processing, support project and research work or analysis and undertake other administration and coordination tasks as required.
- Manage records and use systems including Microsoft Office, PDMS, Tech1 and other tools and share information and knowledge across the Executive Assistant network.
- Come from a strong administrative background - preferably in the Government or Finance sector.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain constructive professional relationships at all levels across the department,
- Have strong organisational skills, including diary management and reprioritisation of competing priorities and meeting deadlines,
- Can communicate confidently with a range of key internal and external stakeholders and have excellent verbal, written communication skills, and
- Be confident in meeting timeframes and managing your own workload.
This role is based in Canberra and offers hybrid/flexible working options.
