Position Information
Georges River College Penshurst Campus is a comprehensive co‐educational school with 488 enrolments, 78% from non‐English speaking backgrounds, focused on quality teaching, high‐potential and gifted education within a technology‐embedded environment. Specific Selection Criteria
* Approval to teach Library (Secondary) or currently enrolled in Library (Secondary) qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education.
* Demonstrated skills in effectively managing a school library that fosters innovation, including technology use for students to access, evaluate and synthesize information for individual and whole‐school programs.
* Demonstrated ability and willingness to create a library environment that supports and encourages students to develop a love of reading, effective research skills, and study routines.
* Highly developed interpersonal skills with a proven to work collaboratively within a team to support the delivery of high‐quality teaching and learning programs in the library and across the school.

* Engagement will be temporary until successful completion of the Teacher Library (Secondary) qualifications recognised by the NSW Department of Education, to be completed within 24 months.
