Electrical Maintenance Specialist

As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Power Up Equipment: Ensure that all critical electrical systems are properly installed, calibrated, and maintained.
2. Diagnose and Optimize: Examine, troubleshoot, and fine-tune interconnected circuit systems to prevent any disruptions to our operations.
3. Keep Records Sharp: Manage and maintain all essential documentation for seamless operations.
4. System Commissioning & Tuning: Commission and fine-tune electrical systems to achieve peak performance and reliability.
5. Master Complex Control Systems: Troubleshoot advanced electrical control systems, working with combinations of pneumatic, electronic, microprocessor-based, and mechanical subsystems.
6. Lead Special Projects: Collaborate on exciting special projects that drive innovation and improvement.
7. Be a Safety Champion: Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and actively participate in safety improvement teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A current Queensland Electrical Work Licence
* Post-trade experience in heavy industry electrical or instrumentation work
* Cert 3 or 4 in Instrumentation (desirable)
* Experience with fixed plant maintenance (desirable)
* Familiarity with LV motor control and PLC systems (desirable)
* Current CPR and Low Voltage Rescue certifications
