Sequoia will focus on exclusive, money can't buy, behind the scenes experiences that simply aren't available anywhere else in the world.
The Role
We are looking for passionate & hard working Lodge Duty Manager to join our Sequoia Team. We are looking for superstar all-rounders who will not only be welcoming guests into Sequoia but will be assisting with hosting amazing experiences and the service of delicious food and beverage offerings. You would be key members of our team, working together to deliver unique experiences to all of our guests and upholding our old fashioned hospitality service which is core to what we do.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Welcoming all guests with warm hospitality
* Managing the guest experience, arrival through to departure
* Undertaking check-ins and check-outs of guests
* Reservations, quality checks, up-selling
* Rooms inventory management
* Able to deliver/assist within the lodge food and beverage offerings
* Restaurant & day spa booking coordination
* Concierge, hotel information assistance
* Delivering memorable experiences
* Providing incredible, extraordinary, customer service
Skills and Experience
* Reception and concierge experience (preferred but not essential)
* Hotel, resort, accommodation experience (preferred but not essential)
* Great communication skills, solution-focused approach
* Impeccable grooming and personal presentation standards
* A passion for hospitality, guest satisfaction and success
* Food and beverage experience (preferred but not essential)
RSA is required or willingness to obtain
This position is offered on a 7 day rotating roster.
Being a boutique luxury establishment, this is a hands-on role so be prepared to be the front face of Sequoia
