Payroll Specialist / Project Implementation Asst
We are currently in the market for exceptionally skilled and knowledgeable payroll expert to play a significant role in a journey of transformation. Whilst the duration of this role is initially for 6 months. Depending on project outcomes this could be extended.
As the Payroll Specialist you are responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of end-to-end payroll services across Australia, whilst ensuring full compliance with Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards, the Fair Work Act, and ATO reporting requirements.
In addition to operational payroll responsibilities, this fixed-term position will play a key support role in the implementation of a new payroll system. This will include assisting with data validation, system testing, process documentation, parallel runs, and supporting a smooth transition from the current payroll platform.
Critical to both your and the client\'s success will be your strong knowledge across modern award instruments in Australia, AND possessing experience in an implementation project previously. Knowledge of Kronos & ADP, as well exposure in a blue-collar workforce will be a significant advantage
Based in Western Sydney (Lidcombe), this role offers a hybrid/flexible working environment, with a minimum of 3 days in office required (Tues Wed and Thurs). This may change as the project progresses' and demands shift, hence your flexibility is important.
