The collection has six women's and one men's apparel brands all designed for real people, real bodies and real lifestyles.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Fashion Designer to join our creative team.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work closely with senior designers, gaining hands-on experience in the fashion industry.
Reporting into the Brand Manager, the purpose of the role is to execute all the design processes for the allocated categories, ensuring all the designs meet quality and fit standards and brand creative direction.

To support the Holiday Collective design team creatively and administratively to deliver seasonal ranges on time and on brand.
To support the team throughout the development cycle through to bulk production.
This is a support role that is fast-paced and an ideal fit for someone who enjoys challenges.
The successful candidate must have excellent communication, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Being highly adaptable is a must, as the fast-paced fashion industry is constantly evolving.
A fashion designer has the capacity to remain calm under pressure, as the job can involve long hours and high stress.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
Design fashion ranges in conjunction with the Senior Design team, in line with the Holiday Collective's brand aesthetic and brief set out by the Brand Manager.Collaborate with Senior Designers to create seasonal colour palettes, mood boards, and fabric selections, incorporating trend research to help develop the collection.Create and update CADS/tech packs/design boards and spreadsheets to best represent the collection.Collaborate with the product development team to transform design concepts to production-ready technical specifications.Communicate with suppliers to ensure sample development is on schedule.Collaborate with the marketing team on seasonal photoshoots and assist in the handover of design assets to sales teams.Provide design/image support for sales and online tools.Create and maintain data integrity (visual/technical/digital).Develop relationships across all departments.Consistently value and hold true to the heritage of Holiday Collective to reflect the spirit, honesty, energy, and passion in all areas of design.Desired skills and expertise:
A Tertiary qualification or degree in Fashion Design or related fields.Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.Proficiency in MS Office programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.Strong illustration and technical drawing abilities.Detail-oriented with good technical garment and fabric knowledge.Deep understanding of trends and the ability to select prints, colours, and fabrics that complement the brand's aesthetic.Able to work under pressure and manage deadlines in line with the critical path.You are an efficient multitasker, prioritising your workload appropriately.You have a strong focus on developing & sustaining collaborative and productive relationships.You are creative, innovative & you think differently in dealing with both opportunities and issues.Strong written and oral communication skills.You provide feedback as & when required to all levels of the business.You are organised & efficient, with a strong focus on achieving results.Strong work ethic.A happy, friendly, and energetic personality.Proven ability to work autonomously.To Apply
